Site preparation: Ensuring pickup and delivery locations have adequate access, firm ground, and proper clearances for loading and unloading.

Equipment preparation: Securing loose parts, removing attachments as required, and ensuring equipment is in transportable condition.

Documentation: Providing any necessary permits, ownership documents, or authorization letters required for transport.

Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays, additional charges, or service refusal.

Liability and Insurance

Big Frog Transportation carries commercial general liability insurance and cargo insurance as required by federal and state law. Our insurance covers damage caused by our negligence during normal transport operations.

Our insurance does NOT cover:

  • Pre-existing damage to equipment
  • Mechanical failures or defects
  • Damage caused by improper loading by customer
  • Acts of God (weather, natural disasters)
  • Damage resulting from inaccurate information provided by customer

Customers are encouraged to maintain their own insurance coverage on transported equipment. We can provide certificates of insurance upon request.

All claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at time of delivery.

Equipment Inspection

Our drivers will inspect equipment before loading and document existing condition. Customers should perform their own inspection and take photographs before and after transport.

By accepting delivery, customers acknowledge equipment was received in satisfactory condition unless damage is specifically noted on delivery receipt.

  • More than 48 hours before scheduled pickup: No charge

Delays and Scheduling

We make every effort to meet scheduled pickup and delivery times. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, permit processing, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Big Frog Transportation is not liable for delays or consequential damages resulting from late delivery. Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees.

We will communicate with customers promptly if delays are expected.

Permits and Compliance

Big Frog Transportation will obtain necessary permits for oversized or overweight loads. Permit costs are passed through to customers at actual cost.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their equipment is legally transportable and properly registered. We reserve the right to refuse service for equipment that cannot be legally transported.

  • Special equipment required for loading
  • Escort vehicles
  • After-hours or weekend service
  • Multiple stops
